When we think of Rick we will always remember our crazy bus trip to Wheeling West Virginia. We laughed so much our stomachs hurt. Rick was so funny! Cookie and Rick fed off of each other. A comment one would start the other would finish and you would be in stitches. We will always cherish these precious memories.

The memory book
Memories of Rick, shared by family and friends.
We have many fond memories of times spent at the home in Peterborough on the hill near the court house in the 70’s. Lots of laughs and the best homemade pizzas!! We visited the garlic farm too although I don’t remember exactly where it was. Always the most enjoyable times with your Dad and Mom and you three kids. Rick was a very special, kind and generous man. His laugh was infectious and his heart was big. Thank you for sharing the stories of Rick’s life which he lived to the fullest. Our sincere condolences to Jane, Matt and Rich and your families. Cheryl, Jennifer and Jeff
I can’t imagine my childhood without Rick. Countless days and weekends spent together and one of my father’s best friends. I can close my eyes and hear his laughter. Life took us in different paths later in life and I wasn’t able to spend and enjoy time with him. When we seen each other it was like a day wasn’t missed. Will be sadly missed. Hopefully my father and Rick are sitting at a table enjoying a nice Labbats Blue and catching up on old times. Love ya. Jason ,Heidi,Taylor and Reagen Del Mastro
My first memory of Rick has always stuck with me. Rich and I had fallen asleep on the floor in the family room. We were about 16 or 17 years old. It was at their house on Tagish Court in Mississauga. My first instinct when we heard noises coming from the kitchen was to slip out unnoticed. But I was spotted and Cookie invited me to stay for breakfast. I sat down at the table, I was full of nerves, there was a giant stack of buttered toast in the centre and Rick looked up at me with one eye squinted and said, “So. You had a sleepover party.” He was always the perfect mix of keen and funny and I always felt accepted. Lots of good times were had. He is certainly blessing you all from above now. Love always and forever.
